A Trip Over The Heads Of The Valley Road

On our way back from Newport this week as it was a nice sunny day and we were not in a rush we came back on The Heads Of The Valley Road over the tops of the mountains in Mid Wales.

Such beautiful scenery and just 40 minutes from where we live by the sea.

We stopped twice, once at a little layby:

The second time was at one of the picnic sites the side of one of the reservoirs belonging to Severn Trent Water.  I would show you some pictures but the battery went on my camera!  Just means we have to back again soon.

There is something about the colour and the perspectives you have chosen here which is immensely attractive. They would make lovely postcards :).
